Development Engineer

We are working closely with a global equipment manufacturer who are looking for a Development Engineer to add to their growing R&D team. They supply into the medical/research/analytical sector. 

We are looking for:
  • Degree or equivalent in experience
  • Electrical engineering and/or scientific background
  • Experience in a similar Development/R&D role
  • Hands on and practically minded 
  • Problem solver 
Day to day you will be within the R&D department developing existing bespoke equipment and getting involved in bringing new products to life. You will also be project coordinating between other departments such as purchasing and supporting production and the test department, so you should be personable and be able to get on with people across the company at different levels. You will also be overseeing design and build documentation and assisting in the firmware/software development. 

Working for a global business there are opportunities to progress and take on more responsibility looking forwards in various different routes within the company., the main route specialising within a certain area within R&D.
