Electronic Test Technician

We are working closely with a global equipment manufacturer that supply into the scientific/medical/research sector. As part of a continued ambition and growth opportunity we are looking for an Electronic Test Technician to add to their growing team.

We are looking for:

Open to background, no qualifications required, more about the right experience
Electronic/PCB Test experience required
Practically minded – could be a hobbyist in spare time
Strong attention to detail, the equipment is low volume but high value
If you have High Voltage experience and/or Instrumentation that would be a preference
Commutable to Wrexham

Day to day you will be testing PCB’s, fault finding, making adjustments and repairing them where necessary. This will involve fault finding down to component level, soldering/desoldering and using test equipment such as Oscilloscopes. You will also work closely with the Assembly team who build the equipment and generally helping in other areas of the department when required such as checking stock levels.

There are opportunities to progress and take on more responsibility looking forwards in various different routes within the company. For this role, you could move up into Design or you may want to take a route into Production as a supervisor.
