Field Service Engineer
Instrumentation
UK travel, base of Cheshire
£35,000-£40,000 + overtime + company car + bonus
  
Delve recruitment are working with a growing engineering/manufacturing business, who provide high end electronic instrumentation to a variety of industries. They are looking to add a valuable, driven Field Service Engineer into their dynamic organisation.
  
As a Field Service Engineer, you will deliver an efficient installation and service to all clients. You will be working closely within the team to resolve any issues or repairs the client may need. This is a personal company, you will be appreciated for your hard work and you will be reporting to the Managing Director directly. You will need to ensure effective flow of services by maintaining working relationships within the organisation. This position will include great travelling opportunities, working across all areas of the UK.
  
Your Responsibilities
  • Service support including repairs, client reports and troubleshooting
  • Commissioning and installation at customer sites throughout the UK
  • Managing and scheduling annual equipment calibration
  • Client telephone technical support
  • Reporting to the Managing Director, delivering all repair, service and commissioning activities and associated documentation
  
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful you will have a minimum of an HNC/Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent. You will have a positive and proactive attitude, with great interpersonal skills to communicate efficiently with clients. You will need to be organised and flexible to changing customer requirements and be able to prioritise to meet deadlines. You will have the ability to work independently and part of a team, to contribute to the team’s continuous improvement approach, delivering a high standard of service.

You will be provided with strong training, including specific industry courses in Germany and shadowing an experienced engineer. Meaning the position is suitable for ranging levels of experience.
