We are in need of enthusiastic and proactive technical salesperson to sell assigned quotas of semiconductor capital equipment, supplies, and services throughout the UK and Southern Ireland.

*** OTE £80,000 to £100,000 ***

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with Sales Management to ensure objectives and goals are met. Reporting directly in to Sales and Service Manager EMEA.

  • Identifies and calls on key decision makers, including management representatives at identified and prospective accounts to persuade and convince prospective clients of desirability and superior value of products or services offered.

  • Implements major account selling strategies and tactics to coordinate necessary corporate resources resulting in addressing and overcoming customer concerns or objections .

  • Maintains proficiency in both technical and business aspects of purchase negotiations including process specifications, hardware configurations terms and conditions.

  • Develops, maintains and submits current sales information, including forecasts, customer database information, account profiles, sample requests and trip reports.

  • Oversee a small team of Sales Reps and motivated by building a larger team in the region.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration or other related discipline, and

  • Preferably with experience in plasma processing equipment, deposition or wet etch. Other specialist machinery for semiconductor manufacturing can be accepted.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and UK Passport.

  • Ability to communicate effectively interdepartmentally and externally with customers, and other contacts such as vendors.

  • Ability to compile technical reports and present technical material to internal and external groups.

  • Ability to negotiate technical aspects of purchase (including process specifications, hardware configurations, and commercial terms and conditions).

  • Willing to travel (30-50%) mostly local and very occasionally internationally.

  • Well-organised and comfortable working remotely.

  • Based anywhere in UK but within one hour of national transport links.

  • Sales Engineer, Applications, FAE or Key Account Management backgrounds - semiconductor manufacturing machinery.
