Delve are a global search business who work with some of the worlds brightest biotechnology companies. At present, we are working with an international business in their search for an Upstream Marketing Manager. The company are involved in the design and manufacture of reagents used by diagnostic businesses all over the globe. Due to the current climate, they have seen a period of sustained growth, which is expected to continue well in to 2022.
  
As a result, they want to hire an Upstream Marketing Manager who can work closely with their R&D function to build and deliver strategic campaigns that will allow for a direct impact on revenue.
  
You will be responsible for working with R&D teams on their product development and how that product can impact the customer - what will be the benefits and how can they best use the products. This role will also see you build relationships with KOL's internationally and feedback insights to the wider business; this feedback will then have a direct impact upon the execution of marketing campaigns and all collateral. Listening to the customer, conducting competitor analysis and understanding future market trends will all form part of your daily activities, you will then use this data to create strategic campaigns for the sales team to use in their processes.
  
Overall, you will be the the person responsible for driving the growth of all molecular reagent sales. As a result, you will be a scientist by trade. This means you will likely have a masters degree within biology or a closely associated field. Your ability to understand the science will be absolutely critical to success in this role. On top of that, the business would like to see applications who have worked in some form or marketing/product management role who want to use those skills in a more strategic manner.
  
The business operate in a fast paced commercial way, meaning that you will be able to adapt to changes in process and be comfortable in prioritising work as and when deadlines shift.
